GENERAL INFORMATION Competitions will be held during the course of the weekend. If you would like to enter your tattoo in one of the many competition categories, simply sign up at the main stage prior to the competitions starting. If you are entering your tattoo, it must be fully healed or it will not be judged, unless it is for Tattoo of the day. Tattoo of the day must be properly cleaned up, presentable, and done by attending artist working the convention. Registration for each tattoo is $10.00 which is non refundable. A panel of carefully selected tattoo artists will judge the tattoo competition. Contestants must be present 30 minutes prior to competing. ****No refunds for no shows.1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards will be given for all categories listed above, except ( Tattoo of the day, Best male & Female ). Except for Tattoo of the day. Tattoo of the day will have only one place for each day of the show.**** If you’re a sore loser or poor sport this is not for you. |

Get out of the heat and into the air conditioned glory of the 2nd annual "Masters of Tattooing" tattoo convention at the Dallas/Addison Marriot Quorum! The convention will be open to the public June 26th, 27th, and 28th and will feature plenty of tattoo artists, live tattooing, tattoo contests, a bikini contest presented by Two Playgrounds, awards, magazine coverage, after parties until 2 a.m., the Assassination City roller derby girls, and more! VIP passes are available FREE at any one of the five Dallas metroplex Fine Line Tattoo shops. Stop by to pick yours up to receive half off admission for the entire weekend. Summer is the time to show off your tattoos, so show yours off in one of the many categories in the daily tattoo contests to win an award. Major tattoo magazines will be there and your tattoo could end up being published in a monthly tattoo mag. Tattoos will be performed daily in the main tattoo showroom and available to the public Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 until 6 p.m. Think school’s out for the summer? Old-school’s still going hard. Wes Grimm’s old-school, Vintage Tattoo Exhibit will be open to the public daily featuring hundreds of images of tattoo flash dating back to the early 1900’s, pages and pages of antique flash from the world-famous old-school master Bert Grimm’s own personal collection, rare antique tattoo machines, and more. This is a can’t-miss opportunity. You’ll be inspired and amazed. And girls- You don’t want to miss the bikini contest at 7 p.m. on Saturday night for a chance to win $500! And guys- we know you’ll want to be there to help judge the winners! There’s going to be so much eye-candy you’ll have to see the dentist!Entrance is $15 per day or $40 for a weekend pass.
